According to the Tennessean (Nashville, TN), “A woman who became angry when deputies asked her to stop nursing her baby outside a Rutherford County courtroom was threatened with arrest.” The article indicates that she was asked to more to “a more discreet location,” when she allegedly began “screaming and causing a disturbance.” I’m not touching the screaming bit with a ten foot pole. Here's a story that caught my eye today. Wouldn't it be a grand use of technology to implement a global initiative like this to protect the future of our world - our children. U.N. Telecoms Body Urges Global 911 GENEVA (Reuters) - The United Nations telecoms agency ITU called on all countries on Monday to adopt a single telephone number -- 116.111 -- for children to call when they urgently need help or support. The BBC, CNN, CBC Newsworld and other all-news broadcasters covered scarcely anything but the narrowly averted catastrophe throughout the day. Funny thing, but the general public wasn't buying it. The reaction was surprisingly cynical...
